Pátzcuaro Casita
Pátzcuaro Casita originates from our own personal sense of place, separation, and dislocation. Both metaphorically and literally, this work represents the idea of “hanging together by a thread.” The physical object and circular configuration acts as a calendar, consisting of sewn together photographs taken over a course of four months, from six windows, in a small house in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán, Mexico.
